Incredible social event for lovers of crime writing, be it fiction or fact, be it short story or long, be it published through traditional or electronic means. Great place to learn about the tricks of the trade - not just writers craft, but also the ins and outs of police procedure, private investigation, etc. Readers, writers, agents, publishers, reviewers and members of the media were all there.
April 19th, 2012 - Arthur Ellis Shortlist event with Howard Shrier!
A great time was had by all. Special guest appearances by Mr. Shrier's father, mother, and grandmother, who was just turning 101. I'm pretty sure the rest of the Shrier clan came too.
